Ghana is a failed state. It became a failed state because no one wanted to implement Nkrumah'd plans after they ousted him from power. All governments that came after Nkrumah knew there was a development plan for the country, but refused to follow it to "KILL" Nkrumah's legacy. The notion that oil was discovered in the Kuffuor era is false. Oil exploration started in Ghana in 1965, and though oil was found along the shores of the country, the Canadian Company contracted by Nkrumah for the exploration, Messers Phillips Inc. was ordered to keep the data after the coup of February, 1966 by the USA. All governments after Nkrumah knew he did oil exploration and they knew where the data was. The NDC in their last years bought the rigs in order to start the extraction of the oil, but they lost power to the NPP, who decided to look for an external partner than being handled direct by GNPC, and that was how Tullow was engaged. My late brother was among the first batch of deck hands recruited by Messers Inc. Canada from Tema in 1965, and he came home one day with a jam jar of a sample of the crude oil. Ghanaian politicians within the last 51 years are doing nothing than fooling the people for their personal gains.

Hate,enviness and jealousy have no cure but are very destructive hence this state of Ghana. Dr Nkrumah had 7 year development plan and Gen. Kutu Acheampong had 5 year development plan. Dr Busia established the feeder roads ministry with the intention of linking every farming community accessible to nearest towns,he constructed Highways outside human habitats and started constructing sewerage direct to the sea he didn't finish hence the bad foul smell at the Korle lagoon. He introduced 1 house 1 toilet so every house in the country will have that facility for just 2 years was more than ndc 26 years in office. Osagyefo's 9 years was more than ndc 27 years spent out of our 60 years, useless! Gen. Acheampong 7 years NRC & SMC were far better than AFRC/P/NDC 1234 combined his military rule established AESC and GHWA, he brought about Operation feed yourself and mechanized farming in the north with documentary being shown every Friday night. It was during his time that Ghana had Ghana academicals from the secondary schools to national teams. It was during his time that ndc council of elders then in the Universities demonstrated against being fed too much on chicken because if the operation feed yourself poultry farming were in abundance so chicken meat was like living in abroad and they demonstrated for eating too much chicken, l don't know if ndc were able to even supply the universities with koobi. Then came Papa Kuffuor with NHIS,FREE MATERNAL CARE,FREE SCHOOL FEEDING,YEP,LEAP,MASLOC ETC to relief the people. Mention what for the 27 years of P/NDC reign gave this nation? NOTHING! NOTHING except disunity to create,loot and share the nation's resources ndc ndc Onyame betua moka.
