It was a program that was organized by the catholic church to mark the 40 years of diplomatic relationship of Ghana and the vatican and to thank God for a historical significance that took place 60 years ago when Dr Kwame Nkrumah in that same cathedral prayed for our country Ghana.
the president was only invited by the Ghana catholic Bishops conference to grace the Occassion and to celebrate what took place 60 years ago on the 3rd of March 1957.
state planning committee had nothing to do with this so obviously the journalist did not know the kind of program he attended.
Am telling what i saw the camera me came and set up right in the middle of the pews behind the dignitaries and thus blocking the view of those who were behind the dignitaries. worse of it all i saw some journalist -video camera men standing on the pews and i don't think the Archbishop will stand there unconcerned to see you stand on the pews of our revered cathedral.
it is sad that all the beautiful things that took place in the cathedral this is all you could report. on a day like this when the chief imam, representative from christian council, Ahamadiya mission, charismatic and pentecostal council, Anglican mission,,chiefs and members of government and the president were present for this interfaith service you want to give a negative twist to this?
