Not sure of all the facts here because it's not clear from the news article. But it sort of rings true from experience of other sports federations. The presidents do what they like, protect each other, make up stuff, choose who they like to go to competitions with no regard for talent or rankings.Half the time they pick someone and call them a coach or whatever, take loads of people to competitions, waste a lot of money and don't develop their sport at all. there needs to be an overhaul of the whole system and federation presidents need to present their books and accounts and be answerable to the sport authority about their performance. Ghana has not won an olympic medal since the 1960s.there's no reason for that. the talent is there but the federations, including taekwondo are laws unto themselves and the presidents just travel around and give it large. So whatever the allegations are, they are probably true!
