The maiden edition of Kidney Disease Awareness Walk will be coming off on December 6, 2019 at the Ayi Mensah Toll Booth.

Organized by the Dialysis Services Foundation, the purpose of the exercise is to raise some urgently needed funds to assist critically ill patients.

Participants of the health walk will converge at the Ayi Mensah Police Station at 6:00 AM.

Kidney Disease Awareness Walk to be held on the 6th December, 2019. Dialysis Services Foundation is on mission to educate the nation about the menace of end-stage kidney disease and associated illnesses. The foundation also intends to support research that will help prevent, treat and cure kidney-related diseases.

Finally the foundation is already supporting needy patients who cannot afford dialysis and intends to increase its capacity to support more of such groups of people whose only other alternative is death.

The Awareness Walk has a goal to reach out to One thousand people with this message and raise some urgently needed funds to assist some of these critically ill patients.

Our initial target is to raise Three Million Ghana Cedis (GHS 3 Million) through these initial campaigns. This is our maiden awareness walk and we are inviting the general public to join us to support this worthy cause.

Our theme is, “Walking for healthy kidneys.”
