A nationwide menstrual health campaign organised by Lexta Ghana Limited reached 19 locations across the country on May 28, 2026, as part of efforts to address period poverty and promote menstrual hygiene among young girls.

The outreach, held under the company’s annual #EmpoweredPeriodsCampaign, involved the distribution of sanitary pads and menstrual hygiene education in several communities nationwide.

According to the company, the initiative forms part of “The Dignity Project,” which seeks to support adolescent girls and help keep them in school.

The campaign was announced alongside a partnership between Lexta Ghana Limited and MX24 TV for the 2026 CroxItOut Campaign High School Tour, which will focus on health awareness among students.

The school tour, themed “Awareness, Mentorship, Action” (#EmpowerHer), is expected to address issues including breast cancer awareness, menstrual hygiene, oral health, personal hygiene, and mental health.

Akosua Naana Lexis Obenewaa Opoku-Agyemang, Marketing Executive of Lexta Ghana Limited, said the company remained committed to supporting girls through menstrual health interventions.

“Our massive outreach across 19 locations on May 28 proves that tackling period poverty is a continuous, deeply felt mission for us,” she said.

She added that the initiative seeks to ensure young girls experience their menstrual cycles “with dignity, comfort and confidence.”

According to her, the partnership with MX24 TV would help expand the campaign into senior high schools nationwide.

“Partnering with MX24 TV allows us to take this energy directly into senior high schools,” she stated.
