Some residents of Twifo Hemang in the Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District of the Central Region have urgently called on the government to complete the Agenda 111 hospital project.

The facility is intended to serve as the district’s primary healthcare centre.

Currently, major medical cases are referred to the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Hospital.

The unfinished hospital, approximately 70 percent complete, already has essential equipment, including air conditioners.

Ofori Arthur and Twum Barimah, who spoke on behalf of community members, stressed the importance of such vital projects in the lives of the people and implored the government to allocate resources for its completion.

Patrick Fiable, the District Chief Executive for Twifo Hemang-Lower Denkyira, in an interview, said the government has prioritised the hospital project to be completed by the end of the year.

He added that the hospital, when completed, would serve the Twifo Hemang-Lower area and make healthcare accessible to all.
