Tamale Teaching Hospital renders free medical service

Tamale, July 1, GNA - The Tamale Teaching Hospital rendering free general medical service to Dadokpa community, in the Tamale Metropolis, to mark Ghana's Republic Day.

The hospital would be expected to undertake eye, dental, malaria and general medical screening for 500 people and those found with serious medical complications would be referred to the hospital for further treatment.

Mr. Gabriel Nii Ankrah, Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, told public service to the people.

He said a total of 15 doctors, 15 nurses, three pharmacists and five laboratory technicians were attending to the people in the community. Mr. Ankrah said medicine would be given free of charge to some people and that the hospital would improve on the exercise in the subsequent years. 1 July 10
