US based Ghanaian doctor supports hospital

Dr Grace Ayensu, a Specialist Surgeon based in the United States, has donated medical supplies to the Kwesimintsin Hospital to augment quality health care services.

Dr Ayensu, Director of Healing Hands an NGO said her focus was to contribute significantly to the healthcare system in the country through the provision of equipment to hard to reach areas.

She said this when she handed over laboratory equipment, wheelchairs, spectrum cups, drugs, beds, ultrasound gels, plasters and IV fluids among others to the hospital in the Western Region.

Dr Ayensu said she had similar donations to Essikado, Effia-Nkwanta, Achimota, Okyene Komfo and some CHIPS compound in the Accra and Western Regions.

She expressed gratitude to Project Save in the US for supporting her in the medical outreach programme.

Dr Ayensu advocated health maintenance through exercise, checkups and good dieting systems to avoid diseases.
