Tamale therapy centre curing various diseases

The Anne’s Thermal Massaging Centre (ATMC), a modern scientific massaging centre with the objective of helping to reduce lifestyle ailments among urban industrialized workers, has been set up in Tamale to treat various diseases, including spinal and waist problems.

The Centre has simple tools and modern technology, capable of detecting, diagnosing and treating prostate cancer, diabetes, menstrual problems, as well as relieving the body of stress, numbness in muscles and joints to improve blood circulation.

The ATMC was set up by a retired educationist and a social worker; Madam Anna-Maria Fati Paul, at the former residence of the Catholic Archdiocese of Tamale, with the initial plan of helping Reverend Fathers who had difficulties with their spine, but suddenly attracted numerous clients within the region.

Mr Thomas Kofi Pang, Administrator of the ATMC, who disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency in Tamale in an interview, said the centre was set up two months ago to assist clients who had problems in parts of their bodies, including the spine, and noted that the results from clients had been remarkable.

He said many people who were in serious pains and could not walk well, regained their strength and stability after few days of receiving the therapy, and that there are three centres of such kind in the country, which are doing marvelous treatments.

He explained that the centre has equipment such as the three-sphere-projector (small boy) that treats piles, candidiasis, nerves and menstrual problems, stressing that when a client sits on the machine, infrared heart is produced by the injector, which transmits it into the human system to break down fat and cholesterol.

Mr Pang said the thermal massaging combines the medical science with the principles of moxibustion, finger pressure; massage and chiropractic for comfortable and effective healthcare, and removes chemicals and toxics from the human tissues, to restore the body’s ability to repair cells.

He indicated that the therapeutic means of treating patients was more natural without any side effects and medication, thus making it more preferred to the medical means which sometimes may results in side effects.

Madam Justina Mwintome, Manageress of the Centre said some 20 to 30 clients visit the place daily, and fees charged range from Ghc5 to Ghc10, depending on the treatment, noting that persons below the age of 18 and pregnant women are not allowed to use the facility.

She indicated that Ceragem Master V3, healax and slim bilt machines were all available to perform different roles to relieve the client of any related difficulties.

Miss Linda Lambert, a client who went to the centre with waist pains, expressed surprise at the magic works of the therapy, since her difficulties had been relieved after spending 30 minutes on the bed to receive therapy.
