Saint John's Ambulance, Ghana hosts international Conference

Accra, Sept. 18, GNA -- Saint John's Ambulance, Ghana, will host a three-day international conference to be attended by eleven African countries with volunteer membership of the Aid training and service provider.

Topics to be discussed by delegates at the conference to be held from September 20 to 22, include a new Lifesaver Course, Youth Participation, HIV/ AIDS Awareness, Marketing and Public Relations and Strategic Planning.

It is being organized by the St. John Ambulance, Ghana a sub-vented organisation under the Ministry of Health and it would be chaired by the Deputy Lord Prior, Mr. John Strachan of New Zealand. Ghana is a member of a charitable international organisation which is in 40 countries with a volunteer membership of 200,000 and relies on donors and local sponsors.
