Nursing Trust Fund to sue Registered Nurses Association

The Nursing Trust Fund has threatened to sue the Ghana Registered Nurses Association for defamation.

The executives of the voluntary welfare organization for nurses are incensed about a statement from the Registered Nurses Association describing their group as fraudulent.

They have also planned to demonstrate against the Registered Nurses Association and expose what they call its inefficiencies and corrupt deals.

Spokesperson for the group Malcom Asamoah told Starr News they feel disrespected by the Registered Nurses Association.

“We find this accusation as wrong and that it is just a way of tarnishing our image, so we are very much upset. We have given them two weeks to apologise or we go to court for the court to determine if we are an illegitimate organisation,” he said.
