The Lions Club of Turin in Italy has donated 1,200 spectacles to the Ho Regional Hospital.

The spectacles were delivered at this recent Yam Festival durbar at the Jubilee Park in Ho.

Ms Lisa D’Andrea, a representative of the of the Honorary Counsel who took delivery of items, said that the gesture is the beginning of more good tidings from the Lions Club and other charities in Turin to the Asogli State.

She was optimistic that the spectacles will be put to good use in improving the health of citizens of the Asogli State.
