The Divisional Union of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) has donated ten hospital beds to the Airport Clinic, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening healthcare delivery for airport staff, travellers, and the surrounding community.

The donation, presented by Union executives at a brief ceremony in Accra on December 1, 2025, is aimed at improving patient comfort, enhancing emergency preparedness, and supporting the clinic’s capacity to respond to rising healthcare demands within the airport enclave.

Managing Director of GACL, Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare, speaking at the event commended the Union for the gesture, noting that it aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to improve welfare systems across all airport facilities.

“This donation directly supports our broader vision of ensuring that everyone who walks through the Airport Clinic receives quality and dignified care,” she said.

“We appreciate the Divisional Union for recognising the importance of healthcare in our working environment and investing in this essential facility,” the GACL boss added.
