The Municipal Director of Health Services, Madam Rebecca Dokurugu, expressed appreciation for the donation, noting that, it could significan= tly help to reduce maternal deaths in the area. She said due to lack of logistics the Municipality recorded five materna= l deaths in 2007 and 10 in 2008. The figure however reduced to three, last year. Mr Francis Addai-Nimoh, Member of Parliament appealed to the government= to focus on equipping the health services with the needed logistics to enhan= ce performance.
