The government is the problem we have in Ghana.
Why work hard and be poor? For that I will rather do nothing and be poor it is a better choice.
What is the reason then when one works hard and is poor? Corruption, yes it is corruption.
The cocoa farmer is poor because they steal his money at the top.
The gold miner is poor because his money is looted at the top.
It is true Ghana is in a mess, because the loot at the top is huge.
Who then is at the top?
Sadly to say it is the people we elected to watch our money for us and to invest our hard earned money for us and our children, it is Mahama and the NDC, they are corrupt and looting our resources and are rendering us poor.
We are poor due to our choice of government and not because we are not working hard or because we are not paying our taxes or we are getting free food and accommodation.
Yes the NDC are looting the coffers.
They have designed a scheme in GYEEDA,SUBAH,WOYOME,SADA and a new called YES.
Ghana is wallows in abject poverty and is all due to leadership.
If Ghana was a business the CEO (Mahama) would have been asked to resigned by the board of directors long before, and they will never wait for the company to collapse before the CEO is given the boot.
That is how I see it any ways.
Even though you have written to blame us the people, that is your opinion which you are entitle to, but now you have mine to I am also entitled.

You wrote that:
1. The government is the problem we have in Ghana.
Who or what do you think is the Government? Where you live currently (if you are in Ghana), Do you know the Name of your local/District/municipal assembly? Do you even know your house no. or your street no? Do you have any idea who is to collect garbage, supply water etc in your locale? Of course you DON'T. you are just a typical willfully ignorant Ghanaian. Believe me the Lizards in your area know exactly where and what they need is!
You further write:
2. Why work hard and be poor? For that I will rather do nothing and be poor it is a better choice......
Everywhere in the world of all animals, it is a well-known fact that in order to survive you need to use your intelligence to work as much as you need to survive to a level you are comfortable with. All the LIZARDS and ANTS know that.
3. What is the reason then when one works hard and is poor? Corruption, yes it is corruption.
---
Of course there is corruption all around. Not only that there are all manner of thieves and other nasty human beings around. That simply is neither here or there. The question is if you know of any specific case, what have you done about it. Haven't you heard of Martin Amidu etc.
But here is the deal. If your IQ is as high as that of a lizard, you learn to work hard, guide, guard and protect what is yours with all your heart and might. Imagine if everyone of the 30 million Ghanaian resolve to do this today.
3. The cocoa farmer is poor because they steal his money at the top.
The gold miner is poor because his money is looted at the top.
-----
Are you sure about this or like every parrot-singing Ghanaian you are just saying it. Most Cocoa Farmers are highly sophisticated Business men,and the Cocoa Board is a world-wide well-respected body that ensures that farmers are paid a fair price. I am sure you have absolutely no interest in knowing how they work because like a parrot its better to stick with the chorus. The same applies to the Gold industry.
---
4. It is true Ghana is in a mess, because the loot at the top is huge.
---
This is another self-fulfilling prophesy. Of course the cost of living has gone up drastically and a large section of the population are facing difficulties but believe me Ghana is NOT in a MESS. Of course everyone is entitled to create their own individual hell if they so wish.
-----
5. Who then is at the top?
Sadly to say it is the people we elected to watch our money for us and to invest our hard earned money for us and our children, it is Mahama and the NDC, they are corrupt and looting our resources and are rendering us poor.
-----
Do you actually have any proof that Mahama or any of staff are corrupt?
Why haven't you reported them to the police.
Suppose I was to come to your church or club or even your home and proclaim that YOU, YOUR PARTNER, CHILDREN and family are all corrupt because or a,b,or c. how will you feel?
7. We are poor due to our choice of government and not because we are not working hard or because we are not paying our taxes or we are getting free food and accommodation.
----
Since you are part of the society and by extension part of the governed, you have a stake and can insist on it. No government is good or bad except what the people make of it.
8.Yes the NDC are looting the coffers.
They have designed a scheme in GYEEDA,SUBAH,WOYOME,SADA and a new called YES.
---
Another parroting chants. All of these and any from the alphabet soup you can come up with are only as good as people are willing to make them work. Yes people, Ghanaians. Not necessarily NDC or NPP.
10. Ghana is wallows in abject poverty and is all due to leadership.
If Ghana was a business the CEO (Mahama) would have been asked to resigned by the board of directors long before, and they will never wait for the company to collapse before the CEO is given the boot.
==
Sad, Really sad. Ghana is not a Company. It is a complex amalgam of 30 million or so souls. And no company anywhere has functioned when large parts of the work force are either unwilling or incapable to contribute.
Oh yes Ghanaians like to refer to Ghana as a company. Believe me if Ghana was a company we cannot afford to pay the right management team. Do you have any idea what the CEO of MTN makes a year?
11. That is how I see it any ways.
The way you are seeing it very wrong.
Dig deeper, get to know yourself and your environment. Do real reflection.
Forget the Radio and TV stations. Remember all they need is for you to do is to keep listening to them so they can sell you soap and cream.
12. Even though you have written to blame us the people, that is your opinion which you are entitle to, but now you have mine to I am also entitled.
---
do not see the article as blaming the people as individuals. Read it as an alternative story line what you have been hearing all the time.

Thank you sir. I thought I was the only one who believes that our current situation has little to do with who ever is President but rather whoever walks on the good land and sees no reason to behave as a rational human being.

There's a paralysis of leadership. That's the problem. Ghana can be likened to a class of pupils without a teacher. It's disorderly. Or it's like a herd of sheep without a shepherd. Remember there's a world of difference between the shepherd and a sheep herder, a hireling, if you know what I mean. Where are those who campaigned vigorously to be our leaders? Where are the kings and queens? Where are the community leaders? Where are the religious leaders? Where are the grandpas, grandmas, uncles, aunties? There are leaders and there are followers
We have enough of followers but where are the leaders? Wait a minute. There are no followers. There's chaos because everyone is a leader and so there's no leader in the real sense of the word. The African Americans say "when the head moves the rest of the body follows". There's disorderliness because there isn't a unitary system. Everyone has become his own leader and have their own set of rules and regulations.
