the problem with this northern mentality is that thanks to jj they now all have an unquenchable thirst for power but never to serve in a team or accept their fellow countrymen . just look around in Accra and study the majority of the businesses owned by these northerners and in the majority of the medium and Small sized businesses you notice they only employ their fellow northerners and practically never employ an Akan . Today in Accra the largest religious building in the country will be the mosque being build on our national park at Nima donated by Turkey confirming the Islamic domination of Ghana. Tribalism mixed with chauvinism and despotism from the north has now equaled the hegemony of the ewes . A.C.C.R.A any criminal can roam about so we have them everywhere now . even at the scholarship secretariat hardly ever is an Akan awarded the privilege to go abroad and study now . The Akans are the majority but because most continue to sleep or blindly trust the other tribes these atrocities are taking place . We look at the political strategy of the NDC and see the typical Hannibal wench when he turned the strengths of the mighty Roman army against themselves as they are doing to the Akans . From the south they use part of the Fantis and from the North the Brongs , from behind we have the chariot onslaught of the Gas Ewes Krobos. Yes the political landscape reflects a war which is only meant to destroy the right of self governance of the God's chosen nation of Africa the Akan . For them its a big deal who leads the NPP but we really don't care as our movement grows stronger by the hour as more and more Akans wake up to reality of this dire situation . We did not ask for this war but we will fight it and be victorious as God is with us . Long live the Republic of Akan

What if I told you Duncan Kusi the history behind such enclaves in cities around the nations of the world. Do you think Fante New Town and others came about in vacuum? Talk and write about things you know and not what you deem events to be. Pioneer Press was originally owned by a Fante but because of tribal animus owners of the press lived in a neighborhood where other Fantes lived even if it gave those Fantes an allusion of security. These enclaves do exist in Accra and elsewhere in the world, from China through UK to the USA.
It is one thing for such enclaves to exist in foreign land such as in New York, Toronto, Canada, Paris and other nations but it is a shame to find them in Kumasi or other metro/cities in Ghana when other Ghanaians have to live in communities because they hail from different regions or tribes. Talk what you know and understand and not what the local “ananse” story foretold.

I am amazed how enlightened folks allow themselves to be led by radical tribalists who see and hear almost every issue only in tribal terms.
Was it because the comment was made in Kumasi, in Ashanti Region, or the proverb he used was an Akan proverb?
Even if he meant just what you critics of the comment claim, his utterance did not indicate so and you had to give him the benefit of doubt. Rather, you seem to have been waiting for every slight semblance to your accusation to launch a huge tribal attack on the Prez. That is shameful, indeed. We must be real!
Most of you could not accept the fact that the Otumfuor had given audience to the President, since you still cling on to that "mate wo ho" ideology that considered the Otumfuor as the bona fide patron of the UP/NLM Party of old.
You seem, by your strange claims, admitting tacitly that the NPP, which is the President's strongest opponent Party and to whom the President's comment was clearly directed, is synonymous with the Ashanti Tribe. But that position has been long and widely disowned by the NPP Management. So, why this circuitous, Hail-Mary tribal accusation?
You should channel your energies into challenging the President on his Economic performance, and his almost indifference to the massive corruption pervasively practiced in many Agencies of his Administration, instead of manufacturing reasons to embroil him in a despicable ethnic conflict.
