And talking about history, you should have known by now that it is as subjective as it is objective. The fact of being a former young pioneer alone makes you and your 'facts' suspect to those on the other side of the political divide in Ghana however well meaning you might be. And it is not a controversial fact that there has been a political divide ever since the CPP broke ranks from the UGCC. I think you should rather be grateful Daily Post gave your article wider audience unless of course you would rather not have them carry your views at all and at any rate.

From what you say, you are clearly from the Old Communist school era where dictatorship of a one party state was the order of the day. You conveniently recall history just like how it was drummed into your head in the Young Pioneer days.
You are in the NDC because your party CPP has no clout today therefore you abandon ship for the most convenient one that will have spare capacity to take you on board! You are an opportunist and should be exposed as such!!
Even in today's sour political climate, you will find a lot of decent NDC folk who will not share these extreme views.
Whereas your angst is with the disclaimer, by so doing, you have clearly shown how out of touch you are with modern day realities of the law.
Here is a free education that will serve you well: if you write an article for a newspaper, the legal advisors review it before publication to ensure that there isn't anything within that can give rise to a potential legal action against the publishers; secondly, when an article is culled from another source, the disclaimer is put in to alert people that they are not responsible for the contents because it has not passed the test above.
You have clearly shown a penchant for publicity to spread vicious one sided 'facts'.
As someone has alreday said, you conveniently forget the atrocities that occurred on the other side so if you want to write to educate the youth(GOD FORBID) at least tell some truth.
If there ever was an insurrection to kick out any elected government by brute force, you will realise that NDC and NPP supporters will join forces against such an attack on their rights to elect.
