PASTOR'S ASS OUT FRONT.
The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the pastor not to enter the donkey in another race.
The next day, the local paper headline read:
BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ASS.
This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the pastor to get rid of the donkey.
The pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.
The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day:
NUN HAS BEST ASS IN TOWN.
The bishop fainted.
He informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10.
The next day the paper read:
NUN SELLS ASS FOR $10.
This was too much for the bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the donkey and lead it to the plains where it could run wild.
The next day the headlines read:
NUN ANNOUNCES HER ASS IS WILD AND FREE.
The bishop was buried the next day.
The moral of the story is . . . being concerned about public opinion can bring you much grief and misery, even shorten your life.
Be yourself and enjoy life.
Stop worrying about everyone else's ass and you'll be a lot happier and live longer!

How was Tema Cement Works sold to Scancem and where did the $75 million go? What about Nsawam Cannery and GNTC properties? Who has them? Why don't check your facts before you come public with them? Rawlings is corrupt and if you don't know he assumed power to enrich himself. As his colleagues, including Boakye Gyan, Akata Pore, and the rest who are either dead or in exile.

How possible can anyone writing about hyppocracy, greed, corruption, selfishness seek to exclude Rawlings and Nkrumah? Nkrumah was not corrupt but he was greedy and selfish and drove his personal ambitions at the expense of Ghana. Rawlings is guilty of everything you have mentioned...corruption, hyppocracy, greed, selfianess etc. If you one is truthful and honest you will ask why he led the killing of people who were less corrupt than those in his party today and yet he sits and watch. The looting today comes nowhere near the lootings of the past..today million is like chicken feed. If you speak of any leader he did well for the country's economy and you fail to mention kufuor then you are dishonest. This does not mean that his hands are clean - I cant put my life on that- as if it comes to transforming our economy i can put my life on it for JAK. He did far far better than Rawlings unless the writer is teenager..if he lived through the 19 years of rawlings and saw ghana and alao lived through the 8 years of kufuor then be please be truthful. Politics aside...lets be very honest and judge fairly and we can move our country forward.

When are we going to escape this endless habit of complaining, complaining, and complaining? If not complaining, we are perpetually DESCRIBING, DEBATING, or DISCUSSING problems. But those are fine; they are all part of natural human tendencies, and of course, far easier and more "interesting" than proposing solutions.
What would truly make Ghana a SERIOUS place is if we focus on nothing but PROBLEM-SOLVING. That is what that stuff inside our skulls is all about.

I am not holding brief for the Ghanaian politician but losing hair over them is funny. Ibrahim’s take on Ghanaians as evidenced in the following quote is sad. “The Ghanaian has such a bizarre attitude, selfishly individualistic, myopic, and devoid of the love for the corporate welfare of their lots, but adore being pampered as the only one better off in the family, community or the town in which they find themselves”. For sometime now, it has become trendy for a section of academia to lash out at the ordinary Ghanaian for situations that are totally out of their control. We live in a world where money or wherewithal has assumed the centripetal pull to all that matters. Avarice is the epitome of all endeavors and thus worshiped within the ambience of elites. The élan with which Ibrahim posts such paralogistic rants is nauseating. Leave the peons alone, all their struggles and wailings are aimed at making a buck irrespective of the balkanizations and other whirlwinds that were instituted by Ibrahim and his patrician friends. Far too many jingoists are popping up and attacking the wrong crowd.
