We deeply respect the queenmothers and appreciate the stability they bring to the institution. Fact is they are the cornerstone of the peace and beauty that we see in our traditions.
Let no filthy, corrupt politician come mess it up!!!

It is rather Ghana's weakness, NOT strength, lies in the plurality of custom!!! Nkrumah was right to remove authorities from the chiefs we should have built upon that and not reverse in any way at all.

Kwame Nkrumah created a mess! Look at what is happening in Brong. Look at Ivory Coast where the French completely abolished traditional authority!

There a lot to address in Ghana. Don't bring your dirty polities and Corruptions into our Chieftaincy issues. If you have nothing to do, pack off bags and go back to your homes.

Is Ghana a Republic? Yes! Do we have Kings or Kingdoms in countries declared Republics ? No.
The Regional House of Chiefs, National etc all came about because of the 1960 consitution.
There were numerous Kingdoms in Germany, Italy, India etc . Today, they all exist as one Unitary State. The descendants of all the forner Kings and Maharajahs etc all live humbly in their various countries as citizens. Nobody in Ghana voted for Asantehene or Ya Na to run a parallel govt as to what parliament does.
If the elected and legitimate govt of the Republic of Ghana, want to establish "House of Women" or whatever, they can. As long as Parliament votes for it. Asantehene's opinion does not matter. In the grand scheme of things, he is just an ordinary citizen of the Republic of Ghana and, he knows that.
We should stop fawning over Asantehene, he is not a King neither does he have a Kingdom within the Republic of Ghana in 2025. And tthat is a fact without apology.

Becareful with our Asantehene. You should learn your customs and traditions and that will greatly help you as a
person. The chiefs existed before Ghana and they represent a group of people that binds them together. Wise up
