Bukom Banku urges Oteele’s wife to be patient and stop publicly exposing the actor

Ghanaian sportsman-turned-musician, Bukom Banku, has called on Gifty Nana Afriyie, wife of Kumawood actor Oteele, to exercise patience and refrain from publicly exposing her husband amid the controversy surrounding his leaked intimate video.

In a video shared on social media, Bukom Banku, who described Oteele as his best friend, urged Gifty Nana Afriyie not to take the matter further by sharing private conversations, videos or other evidence that could further embarrass the actor.

According to Bukom Banku, every man in Ghana cheats on his wife, arguing that Oteele is not the first man to do so.

Bukom Banku also appealed to Oteele’s wife to consider the potential impact of the controversy on their family, particularly their children, warning that publicly disgracing Oteele could eventually affect them as well.

“Oteele’s wife, you have to be patient. Do not spoil Oteele in public. Oteele is my best friend, so don’t come on social media to talk, show videos or share messages. It will not be fine. Do you want to disgrace your man again? Oteele has already been disgraced in Ghana.

“Do you want to add to the disgrace again? Every man has sexual encounters behind his wife’s back in this nation, so have patience. Don’t come out to disgrace Oteele. If you disgrace Oteele today, you have disgraced your children tomorrow,” he stated.

Bukom Banku’s comments come after Oteele’s wife expressed anger and frustration over the controversy surrounding her husband following the emergence of the viral intimate video.

Oteele’s wife took to social media to address the matter and accused the actor of allegedly engaging in romantic relationships with several women outside their marriage.

Gifty Nana Afriyie further warned Oteele against provoking her, claiming that she has evidence that could reveal more details about his alleged relationships and private activities.

She suggested that she could release private conversations, including chats, if the actor push her.

“Don't bring yourself, and don't push me because the next thing that will leak may come with chats. Because of you, I had to sack all my apprentices because you always wanted to have relationships with them,” she stated.
