Popular Kumawood actor Mr Beautiful has opened up about why he does not believe in forgiving and forgetting, describing the popular expression as “stupid.”

Speaking with Emelia Brobbey on the Okukuseku talk show, Mr Beautiful, whose real name is Clement Bonney, stated that human nature can be both good and dangerous depending on the situation people find themselves in.

He added that he forgives but never forgets when someone offends him, insisting that the phrase “forgive and forget” makes no sense to him.

“Emelia, I don’t forgive and forget. That saying is ‘stupid’. I will forgive you, but I will never forget. Anyone who forgives and forgets is a senseless person. Forgive, but never forget,” he said.

Mr Beautiful further explained that he keeps track of every offense committed against him because it helps him determine how he relates to people in the future.

“You know what, anyone who has offended me in this life, I have kept all of it under lock and key, and that makes me happy because whenever I think about it, it helps me make decisions,” he added.
