Ghanaian musician Papi Adabraka has opened up about the major role Shatta Wale played in helping him grow his music career and social media presence.
Speaking in an interview on 3music, Papi Adabraka disclosed that without social media, many people might have assumed he was no longer active in music, seriously ill, or even dead due to his low visibility in the industry at the time.
According to him, things changed after he collaborated with Shatta Wale on a song. Before the song was released, the dancehall musician advised him to take advantage of social media, specifically TikTok, as a promotional tool for his music.

That be how it started,” he recounted.
The musician said he followed the advice and started a TikTok live session, during which Shatta Wale joined and urged members of his loyal SM fanbase to support and follow him.
According to Papi Adabraka, that moment significantly boosted his visibility and popularity online.
He added that since then, he has remained very active on TikTok Live, sometimes going live so often that it even surprises Shatta Wale himself.
