Popular Kumawood actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah LilWin has announced a reward for individuals who will help him identify television stations airing his movies without authorisation.

Speaking in a video shared on social media on April 30, 2026, LilWin called on the public to actively monitor TV stations and report any unauthorised broadcast of his latest productions.

He assured that anyone who provides valid evidence will be handsomely rewarded.

According to him, his concern is not with older movies he featured in as an actor, as he was duly paid for those roles and does not own their rights. Rather, his focus is on the new movies and series he has produced.

“Anyone who would draw my attention to the TV stations airing my movies without my consent, I will reward the person handsomely. I’m not talking about the old movies because they’re not mine. I was just featured and I got paid. I’m talking about the current movies and series I produced,” he said.

'No movie soundtrack has made a hit like mine' – LilWin boasts

He urged the public to record short video clips as proof and send them to him through his social media platforms or WhatsApp.

“Whenever you see any of my movies on TV, kindly tag me on all my social media platforms. If you have my number, you can send it on WhatsApp too and I will give you money. Get enough time and tune in to all TV stations to confirm for me. You can take a 10-second video of it and send it to me,” he stated.

LilWin disclosed that he has already engaged some of the television stations involved and given them a deadline to resolve the issue. He warned that failure to comply will result in legal action.

“All those who have already aired it, I’ve spoken to them and asked them to talk to their team. There’s a limited time I gave them, but if I don’t hear from them, I will serve them a letter,” he cautioned.

He emphasised the sacrifices involved in film production, noting that filmmakers often invest personal resources to sustain their work and grow the industry.

“It’s not easy to produce a movie and we will not allow anyone to waste our effort. Sometimes, the money we’re supposed to feed on, we use it to make the movies so that my brand and our industry can grow,” he added.
