To solve your wife's lack of desire to bathe or wash her clothes, just take her to a car wash twice a week and let her walk through the car wash mechanism with her clothes on. Once she gets to the exit, she would have had a good bath as well as having her clothes washed. Do this every week, and the funk hygiene issues in your household will evaporate into a car wash.
