Outspoken Kumawood actor, Kwaku Manu, has weighed in on the ongoing xenophobic attacks on some Ghanaians living in South Africa.
In an interview with GhanaWeb’s Joseph Henry Mensah on April 26, 2026, Kwaku Manu noted that the problem facing South Africans is not their fellow Black people living in the country.
According to him, South Africa’s main issue lies with white men who control the economy and major companies in the country.

He explained that most companies in South Africa are controlled by white men, adding that it is high time the country reflects on its core issues rather than attacking fellow Black people.
“We should come together as Africans. We have a lot of South African companies in Ghana. They don’t know how to confront their main issues because the Black man is not their problem, but the white men living in South Africa. However, they can’t confront them because they are afraid of the aftermath.

“Most of the properties in South Africa belong to white men, so even though a Black man is ruling the country, the white man is in charge of everything. But they should be patient; I know that at the right time they will understand their main problem,” he said.
He further advised citizens in the country to seek employment rather than remain idle.
“South Africans should look for jobs… God should also have mercy on all of us so they can understand their core problems,” he added.
