What’s the value of that 5000 cedis in relation to living standards; food, clothing, accommodation , utilities, transportation, education,health care? People aren’t stupid, if someone earns over 5000 cedis in Ghana and still wants to travel, they clearly aren’t stupid. They know what they face and what they want. Your child gets sick and you may have to cough up all that 5000 cedis you receive in a month to get proper health care for him or her. So when people leave, it’s not just for the money in the bank. But also for other necessities in life; quality health care , sound and modern education etc

light bill 300 + water 200+ gas 150 + rent 800+ others like paste, soup etc 300, let assume the whole family nuclear family feed g 50 day for super times 30 = 1500. Now let sum up everything.
1300+300+200+150+800+300+1500= 4550. This just a normal life excluding parents and the children week end expenditure, clothing, books saloon etc.
Ghc 5000 is nothing in Ghana.
