His vehicle is supposed to have headlights which are not for decoration but to assist him during the night. Again his vehicle is supposed to have brakes so whilst getting closer to the truck his headlights went off and he forgot the brake pedal too abi.

None of the streetlights on the N1 works even though it is a major road. Lives are destroyed on the N1 every day due to darkness as well as the negligence of drivers of broken down vehicles. I witnessed the painful death of about 4 young men probably in their twenties who were crushed into a parked Scrap truck which was parked on the N1 and the driver was nowhere to be found.
The driver appeared later on when everything was only and drove away quietly as if nothing had happened.
Let's not wait for a prominent person to die on the N1 only for the nation to give him a state burial while there are very simple solutions to the N1 problem.
The N1 should be patrolled every hour or 2 since a lot happens in the darkness. Someone loves to burn rubbish at the edge of the Achimota forest opposite the Epitome of Grace building (behind the Nogahill Hotel). The smoke from the fire combined makes it very difficult to drive on the N1 day or night.
