Following days of intense social media discussion, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, husband of Guinness World Record singathon contender Afua Asantewaa, has shared an update on their marriage.

Recently, Afua Asantewaa took to social media to announce that her marriage to Kofi Aduonum had ended.

In a series of TikTok appearances, she revealed that discussions about their separation had begun even before her first singathon attempt.

However, in a recent development on United Showbiz shared on X on April 12, 2026, Kofi Aduonum said they have since resolved their marital differences.

He explained that he and Afua Asantewaa met, addressed their issues, and are now on good terms.

“I can state with authority that everything has been resolved. We have met in person, so there are no issues between us. All we are asking from Ghanaians is prayers,” he said.
