NDC Finland mourns Sir John

It was with great shock to NDC-Finland to learn of the sudden death of Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie(Sir John) the former General Secretary of the NPP and CEO of the forestry Commission on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, evening at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

I would like to extend mine and the entire NDC-Finland's deepest sympathies to his family at this difficult time and the NPP party at large.Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sir John was a great Ghanaian that served his country in various roles and will always be remembered for his dedication to his duties and the many times he brought laughter to our faces

May the outpouring of love he has received since his parting serve as a reminder to his family and the NPP of how much he was loved by all who knew him

As the bible says in Matthew 5:4-Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted .

May he finds comfort with his Maker and rest in peace
