Okuapemman fekuw of Europe{ofe} '' akwaaba''

The much awaited event of Okuapemman fekuw of Europe congress has come to past at Amsterdam on Saturday 28th June 2014.

Many thanks to the Almighty God and individuals who contributed in no small way to make this
occasion a great success.

The main idea was to bring all the chapters together under one canopy. The chapters are:Amsteram{Holland}Verona,Palermo,Regiomelia,Modena{ all in Italy} Hamburg, Stuttgart, Dusseldorf, Berlin{all in Germany}Paris{ France},Gent,Brussels{ all in Belgium}

Pastor Owusu Agyeman of Holy Ghost Revival chapel fame and a patron of Okuapemman Holland
chapter,gave a powerful prayer to open the way for Mr. Amoako Gyampah {President of Okuapemman Holland}, who gave a heart -warming welcome address. He did not hide his surprise at the turn out of this maiden event. He took the opportunity to introduce the delegates from various chapters.

A special thanks was extended to the planning committee with particular reference to Mr.Manukure
Saforo and Mr. Opare Addo who did the foot work to secure the event and picnic location for the union.

Nana Addo Kwaata{Osafohene of Akropong} gave an inspiring speech in which he challenged the delegates from the twelve chapters to say no to utterances that will widen their political divide but see themselves as one people with one common destiny. He further encouraged the delegates to learn life surviving skills as it will help them to navigate through the turbulence associated with societal formation.

Mr. Godwin Larbi,President of Akuapem Mma Fekuw of Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area,and former National Coordinating Chairman of Okuapemman U.S.A. /Canada {OKUSACA} delivered
a congratulatory message from OKUSACA and an invitation to join our sister union in the USA for the upcoming annual Odwira / Ohum festival in Atlanta Georgia from Friday, 29th August 2014 to Sunday the 31st. He briefly expounded OKUSACA history and accomplishments over the years which include the adoption of children's ward and refurblishing of the ward.

He emphasized the need of delegates and Akuapems in general to stay in tune with the
theme of the congress''United we stand, divided we fall'' to use that as a philosophical searchlight, guilding them from unnecessary internal squabbles that can impede the attainment of their objectives.

Mr Afriyie alias ''Sea Breeze'' from Verona chapter in Italy also admonished the delegates to trust in God, eschew bitterness and consume themselves in prayers and supplication to God.

The entire chapters willingly accepted the proposed constitution which will be used to run the union, again it was unanimouslyagreed that the host country executives should run
the affairs of the union for a two year term.
The union urged all other chapters in Europe who for one or other reason could not attend the congress to take the opportunity to join the union. The doors of the union are still open for new

The congress was rounded off with refreshment and merry- making.
The event master of ceremony {M.C.} Nana Kobia Asante of Souls Radio Paris fame touted delegates to appelations amidst cheers from the delegates.
