Rejoinder-NPP UK Members Are Hoodlums And Hooligans

Our attention has been brought to a signed statement by Mr Alex Seshie Vanderpuiye ,the Public relations officer of the NDC describing Ghanaians who took part in a recent demonstration as extremist and hooligans. This statement is very unfortunate and misguided.
For a government that claims to have the mandate of the people to govern and to turn round and call them hooligans and extremist shows a lack of tolerance for dissenting views, which is important for a country like Ghana.
Its time Mr Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah, NDC UK chairman organises some refresher courses for Mr Vanderpuiye to attend because his inability to even write properly or spell words correctly is shocking.
Mr Vanderpuiye goes on to rain insults on members of the NPP in the UK and accuses them for organising a demonstration. The last time we checked, the Coalition of Ghanaians Against Electoral Fraud(COGEF) is not affiliated with the NPP and our checks actually indicate it has a former advisor to the late Professor Mills now living here in the UK, One Dr Nii Boye Ashong and Mrs Freda Barnes, a former cultural attaché who served at the Ghana consulate in Denmark under Ex President Rawlings NDC 1 government as members. If Mr Vanderpuiye who has been in the NDC as old as methuselah cannot recognize or acknowledge his own party colleagues then its not our fault. Mr Vanderpuiye please pass your exams before you come out and talk!
Why should Mr Vanderpuiye think or be worried that some NPP members took part in the demonstration are they not Ghanaians ?
Mr Vanderpuiye makes another assertion that the Chairman of NPP UK Mr Hayford Atta Krufi called for a coup on some Pro NPP media houses in the UK(Whatever that means). Mr Hayford Atta Krufi has never issued any official statement and his comments to Joy Fm, which as far as we are aware, is not a Pro NPP station unless Mr Vanderpuiye wants to call them that were misconstrued. The station actually as the time of going to press has not sought any clarification or granted him audience and he was discussed on newsfile , a current affairs programme without any opportunity to clarify any comments or explain any comments attributed to him .

Ghana has come very far as a country from the level of intolerance the current NDC leadership is displaying and the politics of divergent and different views have come to stay. If people want to demonstrate and protest peacefully against wickedness, poverty, electoral fraud, cheating, smuggling of resources and monies into foreign bank accounts and other serious failings and misuse of power in their countries they is nothing Mr Vanderpuiye and other apologists who want Ghana to remain in darkness can do about it.
