Offinsoman Union of USA & Canada First Annual Convention

Offinsoman Union of USA and Canada’s first annual convention would be held in Virginia USA on September 1, 2012. This is the first event of this kind to be organized by the Offinsoman Union in Canada, Chicago, New York, Denver and Washington DC area. The convention would be set to begin the conversation on how to build one strong Union that will combine all the various chapters into one strong organization in the Diaspora. The goal is to create a strong community in the diaspora, work together to pull common strength and the resources to contribute to the development of Offinsoman and Ghana as a whole.

The event is poised to attract community leaders from all over the world including local residents who will lead the discussions. The discussion topics range from health, environment, to economic development. Deliberations will touch on all other issues affecting the members in Diaspora and more importantly what we all can do to make Offinsoman a better place to live. The core would highlight how we can all get involved in our small ways to contribute to this course. The platform will be used to highlight the state of the town and its future developments.
Offinsoman Union is set up to support and contribute to the development of Offinsoman and the nation as a whole. Membership is open to both native residents and non-native members residing in the Diaspora. The Union is financed by the contributions and donations of its members. Their overall objective is to ensure that the local citizens will have access to the basic facilities needed to make the town better place to live. Their support and contributions are not only limited to extending help to the local citizens back home, but also among members and their families living in the Diaspora.
