Mother of all easter conventions in Virginia

The Divine Word Ministry International under the leadership of Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng held a mammoth Easter Convention at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington Virginia from April 22 to 24, where truly the anointing of God was overwhelming.

This apparently was the mother of all Easter Conventions that have been held in the USA as the Sheraton Hotel was filled to full capacity that extra chairs had to be brought in by the untiring organizers who had worked tirelessly to assist the gathering of Christians who had travelled from all over the world to receive their blessings and to join hands with other believers to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The theme of the convention was "Bringing back the cross"
Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng used the occasion to welcome and acknowledge some delegates who were sent to Ghana on a charity mission under the auspices of the Divine Word international. They were given special recognition awards for their dedicated service to the ministries.

In a brief message the leader of the delegation, Mr. Thomas Owoo disclosed how grateful the vice president of Ghana and the leaders in Government were appreciative of the mission, the items and the money they donated to support charity missions in Ghana.

Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng preached about forgiveness on Friday April 22 from Matthew 6: 14 -15 and urged the congregation to let Peace, Love, God Fearing and Unity be their cornerstone " for if we forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly father will also forgive you, but if you fail to do so, neither will our father in heaven forgive your trespasses",

On Easter Saturday, the Man of God spoke from the book of Isaiah 6:1-7 that " instead of your shame you shall have double honor, instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. He however encouraged the Christians that, in the midst of their disgrace and problems God will show himself strong to them.

Prophet Adonteng Boateng expressed his gratitude to the organizers, the worship and praise team for working tirelessly to ensure the success of the convention. He said, " May you receive a double portion of whatever the devil has taken from you "

He also commended his office staff including Mr. Osei, Ernest Boateng, Cindy Fokuo, Emmanuel Appiah and Fiifi Wilson Asiedu for their dedication to Gods work.

At the end of the convention there was ample testimony that yokes were broken, lives were transformed and the presence of the Lord reigned supreme.

Ms. Ruth Asare Ama Bediako from Ohio - Columbus noted that this is the best Easter Convention she has attended in her life time" if I did not come to this Easter convention I would have done a very great dis-service to myself, because the anointing that has befalling on me and my family is great"

Mrs. Gifty Appiah aka Maame Makola from Chicago said "Praise be to the Creator of universe the Lord for bringing the Prophet Kofi Adonteng Boateng unto us to come and rekindle Christian life from it's slumber, by teaching us the true words from the bible"

Nana Ama Yeboah who flew from London could not hide her happiness and said " I am appealing to Prophet Adonteng Boateng to hold a convention in London, as those of us who live in the United Kingdom are itching to meet him over there and as a matter of fact, God's Holy hands in upon him'

A Canadian woman by name Mrs. Joyce Addo quizzed that " this is the Easter Convention with "DOUBLE - DOUBLE blessings, Maame Adjoa Anima - Minnesota said that, she is very happy to in Virginia to receive her "SUPER BLESSINGS". Mr. George Annor - Denver Colorado, Mr Francis Adjei - Tennessee, Sister Dora Akua Bonsu - California, Madam Doris Sackitey - France, Ms. Alberta Sackey the former captain of the Black Queens, Mrs. Georgina Asamoah - Delaware, Mr. Osei Owusu - New York, Sister Selina Boateng - Maryland.

Professor Kofi Amoateng - North Carolina, Mrs. Theresa Obeng- Alabama, Ms. Florence Anane- Virginia, Ms. Edith Warren - Oklahoma, Mr. Eric Amoah - China, Mr. Frank Osei - Kumasi, Ghana, Ms. Patricia Akua Pokuaa - New Jersey, Opanin Kwadwo Danso - Houston Texas and Ms. Esi Mbrah from Rhode-island were all happy and did testify that, they have come to witness the anointing of God and have their fair share of the Easter event The Divine Word International Ministries have upcoming events in the pipeline
