High Commissioner Living Like A King

All so soon the Ghana High Commission to London, Prof Danso Boafo is living to the English adage that that says an Englishman’s house is his castle. Yes he has turned the High Commission in London into a castle and living an ostentatious lifestyle, infact he is practically living like a king.

Why do I say that?

The learned Prof has settled in so comfortably in his role that he has forgotten the advice of the President Prof Atta-mills and the manifesto promise on ostentatious lifestyle and arrogance.

The High Commission took a flight to Edinburgh airport from London and asked his driver to drive his car from London and meet him at Edinburgh airport, what a waste of tax payer’s money.

The High Commission has employed four personnel’s so far

• A butler from Ghana • An employee for ordinary clerical service from Ghana • Two drivers recruited from Ghana

I will like to know upon whose authority were these personnel’s employed, when did Ghana embassies started recruiting such personnel’s from Ghana, let cut our coat according to our size, at a time when countries are cutting down cost and concentrating on efficiency, The High Commission is concentrating on how to live like a king and has neglected his first love for his Country. What a shame.

Just take a look at their Highgate office and it’s such a shame, there is no receptionist and the last time they had one it was a disgrace to our country, no diplomacy no reception duties, and cannot communicate properly , how on earth did he became a receptionist, please Ghana can do better, it’s about time we do things to international standards rather than concentrating on our per diems and salaries.

More revelations next week
