Ghana's Ambassador to the USA Visits Chicago

Ghana’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Daniel Ohene Agyekum , is on a 9 day visit to the Chicago area. He arrived in Chicago on Wednesday, May 12 2010 in the company of other ambassadors designated to the USA on a US Department of State program.

Mr. Ohene Agyekum is scheduled to meet the Ghanaian community at the Ramada Hotel,4900 S Beach Drive on Saturday, May 15 from 4 p.m to 7 p.m Prompt. Members of the entire Ghanaian community in the Chicago metropolis and the Midwest are invited to come and listen to the latest developments and decisions of the Government of Ghana and also ask questions. A light refreshment will be served. This event is sponsored by the Ghana National Council of Metropolitan Chicago.

The International Trade Club will host a reception in honor of HE Mr. Agyekum, at the John Marshall Law School, 315 S. Plymouth Court, Dean’s suite 3 East, Chicago IL. The event starts from 5:30 p.m to 7:30 p.m. Interested members of the community are welcomed.

The last official itinerary of Mr. Agyekum in Chicago will be a private breakfast hosted by the Chicago Council on Global affairs on Tuesday, May 18, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at the Chicago Club, 81 East Van Buren.
