Ghanaian Killed In Toronto

Toronto, Canada -- Police have identified the victim in a stabbing death Tuesday in a highrise building in the Kennedy and Sheppard Avenues area.

Daniel Boakye, 18, of Toronto was stabbed behind 2250 Kennedy Road between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Police were called to the area by residents who heard him screaming. They are currently examining security camera footage for more information about what happened.

At least two suspects were seen fleeing the scene, possibly in a green car.

An autopsy revealed that the cause of Boakye's death was multiple stab wounds.

Police have released security camera footage of three men wanted in the murder of an eighteen-year-old boy.
William Junior Appiah was shot dead on a basketball court near the Jane Street and Finch Avenue area Tuesday.
Homicide detective sergeant Gary Grinton says that Police believe that Appiah was targeted in this shooting.
"He was approached by three people, it was conversation... one person produced a firearm and shot Mr Appiah."
Grinton says the teenager was playing basketball before he was shot.
The suspects are described as male, black, in their late teens and at least two were seen wearing hoodies.
Police ask that anyone with information about the shooting contact Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
