Ghanaian musician shot in Canada

Quabena JayA Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Quabena Jay, a.k.a. Maphia, leader of Dollars Entertainment and K. G. Music as well as “Adwenekesie” fame has reportedly been gunned down in Toronto, Canada.

Maphia was said to be with some friends in a club in Downtown Toronto where he met his untimely death.

Available information indicates that an hour after his arrival in the club, he and his friends decided to go to a recording studio which was close by the club.

One of the friends alleged whilst jamming in the club, Maphia said a song had suddenly come into his mind and therefore wanted to go to the studio to record.

He said as they stepped out of the club, a car pulled up and the driver opened fire. At that stage people started running helter skelter for their dear lives. Unfortunately, Maphia could not make it as he was shot in the process.

One of his friends quickly lifted him into his Lexus car and drove to a nearby hospital but he was pronounced dead upon his arrival.
