Ahinful to run for Toronto City Hall

Francis Ahinful, the President of the Ghanaian Canadian Association of Ontario (GCAO) is running for office as a City Councilor for North Etobicoke in Toronto in the forthcoming city council elections.

As an experienced community leader, a successful businessman and a degree holder in political science, Ahinful hopes to promote economic as well as social development and to provide strong civic leadership for Etobicoke North.

It is his cherished goal to strengthen the multicultural fabric of our community working with all other community leaders including the youth to make our community safe, attractive and prosperous. He would therefore create a community council that will meet once every month to discuss issues that affect residents and businesses in the Etobicoke North area.

Francis Ahinful serves as a board member of the Thistletown Community Service Unit and, as tenant council member of the Community Housing Unit 1 (CHU1) Etobicoke North.

Ahinful has lived in Etobicoke North with his family for a long time now.
