Book Lauch In Ottawa, Canada

Charity Agyei-Amoama, wife of Charles Agyei-Amoama Deputy High Commissioner of Ghana in Canada and ambassador designate to Italy, recently launched her book The Secret Place of Prayer in Ottawa Canada.

The book was officially launched by his Worship Bob Chiarelli Mayor of Ottawa. The book launch took place on May 4th 2006 at the City Hall in Ottawa

The ceremony was very well attended by diplomats, religious leaders, community leaders and the Ghanaian community in Ottawa, with members of All Nations Full Gospel Church of Ottawa where the Agyei-Amoama?s are members. The MC for the occasion was Pastor Ralph Dartey, Pastor of All Nations Full Gospel Church in Ottawa.
Speaking during the launch, Mayor Bob Chiarelli commended the author for her fine efforts towards community development. He said ?in a city where we cherish and celebrate diversity including the many faiths represented here, it is not by accident that we are here to launch a book on prayer.?

On her part Charity gave a passionate speech about her book. She boldly declared that in order for a person to fulfill destiny and purpose one must be deeply rooted in the word of God. It is the word of God which gives purpose and meaning to life because as the word of God says ?What shall it profit man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul??

The book the Secret Place of Prayer gives you tools to help you to pray about everyday issues. The book has received excellent reviews.
