Supporters of the New Patriotic Party, [NPP] and for that matter Ghanaians have been called upon to go beyond caring for the country by boosting the party’s chances of winning the next election by actually participating in all its planned activities geared towards victory 2012.
To kick start the party’s course of winning the next election the Toronto branch of the NPP is hosting a major Chat and Dance Event on May 7,2011 to gather party faithful and also sell the ideals of the party to win more support or votes.
The Chat and Dance event which will have 40 dollars as the gate fees will start at 9:00 p.m. and close at 2:00 a.m. North Kipling Community Centre in Toronto will be the main venue.
Apart from dinner and dance, there would be a couple of speeches that would be delivered by various dignitaries having the minority leader in Ghana parliament Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, as the guest speaker for the occasion.
This was disclosed by the Toronto NPP branch secretary Prince Ofosu Sefah, on April 20, 2011 after this freelance reporter had contacted him to find out rumour doing the rounds that the minority leader was bid to grace NPP activity here in Toronto next month.
Prince Ofosu Sefah, further disclosed that aside the Chat and Dance programme, there would be other programmes such as question and answer section to be hosted by the minority leader that will also give the audience the platform to ask any question bothering their minds as far as the country’s law making house is concern.
Whiles in Toronto-Canada, the minority leader will also inaugurate a new chapter in Edmonton, in the province of Alberta, on May 14 to also gather party faithful there to push the agenda of NPP victory march for 2012 forward, Ofosu Sefah hinted.
Party members as well as persons wishing to attend this grand occasion were appealed to contact the branch secretary at 1-416-317-4509 or email him at psefah@yahoo.ca for further direction.
