Bronx, NY -- Family and friends of Selina K. Acheampong who lives in Yonkers, New York, USA gathered on Friday; 20th, January for the funeral of her dear mother; Obaapanyin Akua Frimpomaa (aka Auntie Cecilia Frimpong of Atwima Ampabame). There was an earlier viewing at the Pachester Funeral Home and Apostle Prince O. Ameyaw gave an impressive sermon and also prayed for the family of the late Obaapayin Frimpomaa at the emotional ceremony. The traditional funeral rites continued at the popular Golden Stool Palace on 3rd Ave. It was a huge event as New Yorkers came in their numbers to offer support to Selina Acheampong and her family. Ms Acheampong in a conservation with this reporter expressed her sincere gratitude to ALL for the overwhelming support. Obaapanyin Frimpomaa's body would be flown to Ghana for her burial at a later date.
