Police Nab Frank Agyemang

Frank Agyemang, alias Blanka, the alleged gangster at the centre of the Miklin Hotel nude party shooting incident has been nabbed by the Accra Central Police.

Frank, owner of Frabkies Barbering Shop at Leten in East London, shot and wounded Isaac Kwabena Essien, a guest at the party and later escaped to the United Kingdom, but was arrested last Friday on his return to the country.

He has been charged with causing harm and would be arraigned before court soon. The Accra regional police commander, assistant commissioner of police (ACOP) Mr Kofi Boakye, disclosed this in an interview in Accra yesterday.

On January 6 this year, two Ghanaian drug gangs based in the UK got involved in a gun fight in Accra. The group organised a lavish nude party during the Christmas holidays at the Miklin Hotel which turned violent, leading to the shoot-out.
