Okuapemman Atlanta Inauguration

All roads lead to Atlanta, Georgia this Memorial Day Weekend. The Okuapemman Association of Atlanta, Georgia will be having their inauguration ceremony on Saturday, May 29, 2004. Numerous delegates from all over the United States are thronging to the capital of the South for this much-awaited Akwapim celebration night. Ghanaians in Atlanta have dubbed this celebration ?Mountain Top? party galore.

The ceremony promises to be a showcase of celebrities such as Dr. Oteng Gyang, Dr. Gladys Abena Abotsi, and Nana Bosompra of New York fame. Activities on the Inaugural day will include Ghanaian cultural presentations, speeches, drumming and dancing. The ceremony will be held at the Ramada Inn Ballroom.

Our Guest of Honor will the celebrated Ghanaian linguist and Orator Okyeame Akuffo. This celebration will be a lifetime experience and we invite all and sundry to join party in Atlanta. During this celebration, there will be a unique appeal for funds to support the Maternity Ward of the Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital at Mampong, Akwapim.
