No real presidents in Ghana?

... Only leaders who look like office clerks - Dr. Sackey

A Ghanaian political scientist Dr. Chrys Kwesi Sackey, who is based in Germany, has said that apart from Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana has had no real President except those who look like ?office clerks?. ?Ghana has only ?leaders? who look like office clerks.? He said, adding that neither has there been any brilliant politician on the African continent except political analphabets, who are controlled by the imperialists. He referred to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as stomach politicians and accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of having made Ghana a Heavily Indebted Poor Country (HIPC).

For this reason, Dr. Sackey urged the Ghanaian electorate to turn to the Convention People?s Party (CPP) in the 2004 elections for their economic and political emancipation.

According to him, the CPP, which the great African leader Dr. Kwame Nkrumah bequeathed to Ghanaians, has responsible and political talents to move the nation forward.

?We are better equipped with political talents than any other party in Ghana,? he said.

Dr. Sackey said it was time for matured Ghanaians as they are appreciated the role of Dr. Nkrumah for making blacks all over the world proud and vote massively for the CPP in the impending elections.

He rooted for the CPP because of its capability to resist the IMF and make the economy strong.

He said but for Dr. Nkrumah, France would have used the Sahara as a nuclear test site and questioned if any other African leader could have dared challenge France at the United Nations from this diabolical act.
