The Organizing Secretary and the host of the program made a biblical revelation that, during the time of king Nebuchadnezzar, God admonished him, and prophesied that there shall be no dew showered on Israel during his reign as king because of his wickedness. Mr. Nuamah equated that to the reign of Former President. J J Rawlings’ twenty years of rule, and said Ghana could not discover the oil during his evil reign even though it was deposited in the land long ago. He emphasized that, the discovery of oil in Ghana , during H.E. Kuffour’s presidency is a mark of blessing from God and that Ghanaians should be thankful to God and President Kuffour.

Nana Agyei Yeboah, congratulated the Hon. Felix Owusu- Agyapong for his contribution to democracy in Ghana and the key role he played in founding the NPP. He also appealed to all prospective presidential aspirants to be civil and show mutual respect for each other in their quest to become the flag bearer of the party. Nana Agyei Yeboah traced the History of the NPP in New England and said the Chapter was given birth in Worcester . He spoke about the fund raising drive by NPP-USA known as the 2x1 initiative, and asked members to contribute to it. Nana Agyei Yeboah stressed that it is critical to maintain NPP in power in 2008 in order to move Ghana from a third world economy to middle class economy. He enumerated the list of achievements the party has chalked in six short years out of fifty years of our independence. He asked NPP members to attend NPP-USA congress in Dallas in October, 2007. Nana Agyei Yeboah asked Ghanaians to beware “of the self pontificated apostles of probity, who in their time inserted indemnity clauses surreptitiously into Ghana’s constitution, but are now making the rounds talking about transparency”, to the cheers of the crowd. DJ Prince Paul entertained the people as usual.
