NPP Germany To Honour President Kuffour

The Germany Branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will on Saturday 20 December 2014 honour former President John Agyekum Kuffour as part of the activities marking the Launch of its 2016 Campaign.
Mr Alhassan Yakubu Tali, Chairman of NPP-Germany who disclosed this in an interview with a local Radio station explained that the decision to honour and celebrate President Kuffour is in recognition of the his immense contribution to the NPP, his role in strengthening democracy and the rule of law not just in Ghana but throughout African and beyond.
Mr Tali noted that the social intervention programmes, the massive infrastructural development coupled with the prudent and sound economic policies witnessed under the Kuffour-led government remain unparralled in the history of Ghana.
“It is therefore proper for us as Ghanaian to recognise, appreciate and celebrate the man whose vision and examplerary leadership made this possible” he added.
According to Mr Tali, the official Launch of the 2016 Campaign will take place in Bremen on December 20 at Hans- Bredow Strasse 36 starting from 4 pm. This will be followed by a non-denominational Thanks Giving Service on Sunday December 21 at the “The Joy of the Lord Ministries- Graundener Strasse 12-14, Bremen at 13.30pm.
He disclosed that Sister Branches from the UK, Italy, France, Belgium, The Netherland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland have been invited to participate in this historic event. He called on all NPP supporters, sympathisers and the general public to make it a point to be present.
