NDC New York Chapter Donates To Tamale Accident Victims.

The NDC New York Tristate wishes to express its deepest condolence to the members and supporters of the NDC who were involved in the road accident on May 31st, 2008. The chapter also wishes to extend its heartfelt sympathy to their respective families.

We are profoundly moved and motivated by the fact that many people continue to put their lives on the line in order to help the National Democratic Congress to come back to power. Words alone can not express the depth of their sacrifice to the party as well as our beloved motherland.

It will be remembered that, on May 31st, 2008, on their way to welcome the NDC Presidential running mate, John Dramani Mahama, about sixty party supporters and sympathizers fell victim to a terrible road accident where one lady lost her life and about 25 others sustained critical injuries including loss of limbs.

The members of NDC Tristate chapter have donated an amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000) to go towards the medical expenses of the victims.

The chapter also wishes to assure all those involved in the accident that their sacrifices will not be in vain since an NDC government will work hard to ensure that the aspirations of all Ghanaians and the development of Ghana will become a reality.
