Mysterious murders in GhanaTown, Banjul

Banjul - The bodies of eight unidentified men, aged between about 30 and 40, have been found in a village north of the capital Banjul, Gambian police said on Monday.
They said the corpses had been discovered on Sunday evening scattered around Ghana Town, about 20km north of Banjul.
Investigators said the men had not been identified. They appeared to have died sometime between Saturday and Sunday. The cause of death was not immediately known.
Bank notes in CFA francs and euros to a total value of more than ?600 were found in the pockets of some of the dead men.

Ghanaians killed in a foreign land?

(Kobby4U) -- could this be true? I stay in the gambia. jus at where we live in ghana town, 8 corps were found by the police in the forest of brufut and tanji. These bodies were found on sunday afternoon. On the same sunday two ghanaian one from B/A and the other from Apam. came to us asking for refuge. sayin they were 53 people. two senegalese, two togolese 2 nigerians and the rest ghanaians, were seeking a ship connection to go to Europe. But the connection man arranged for somepeople to arrest this 53 people and started killing them in 10s. On sunday 10 were carried to be killed but 2 escaped. The man said out of the 8 killed there were 5 ghanaians. Jus this morning 11 deade bodies were found again at a different area according to rumours. I am yet to get the full story. When everything is set you will get to know better. For the mean time pray for the remaining 53 people for their souls, God to keep.
