Miss Ghana USA Coming Up

The 2rd Annual Miss Ghana USA (MGUSA) 2012 Beauty Pageant is set to be held on Friday July 27, 2012 at the DuSable Museum of African American History (740 East 56th Place Chicago, IL 60637). Festivities will include a Red Carpet event from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm followed by the Pageant show competition at 7:00 pm.
Miss Ghana USA Vision Statement: To be recognized as a world class organization that consistently brings amazing women to the forefront and supports them as they work to achieve their individual goals in the context of their cultural roots.

Miss Ghana USA Mission Statement: The Miss Ghana USA Beauty Pageant’s mission is to find and promote exceptional women with a strong interest in education, humanitarian issues and the Ghanaian culture.
The Miss Ghana USA Organization is pleased to bring to the public a platform of highly educated women of Ghanaian decent who will showcase their culture, talent and explain their ambitions and personal goals. The contestants will describe their year of service activities in both Ghana and America, if crowned the Queen of Miss Ghana USA.

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy an exciting and beautiful evening of Ghanaian culture. There will also be special performances by some of Ghana’s favorite hip life artists including Purpman, Moe SBW, and Blackup. Nana F. Osie will also be reciting one of poems. If you’ve not seen her in action then don’t miss it.
We also hope you will participate in this opportunity to make a change in these young women’s lives.
