Kudos To Ghanaian In Nigeria

"The National Association of Ghanaian Communities in Nigeria (NAGHACON), the umbrella body of Ghanaians in Nigeria is an Association that is focused on uniting all Ghanaians in Nigeria to ensure that no Ghanaian wherever he or she is in the country escapes the watchful eye of the community and the High Commissioner to protect them and look after their welfare. It is non-political, non-religious and non-tribal.The emphasis is the UNITY of Ghanaians for the good of their country.

The leaders of NAGHACON is poised on giving the average Ghanaian a good direction for their progress. In their view leaving Ghana for Nigeria is not all about struggling to make money and spend anyhow but the average Ghanaian after making the money should know how to invest the money wisely at home to create more wealth and prepare for a meaningful home going so that they will have a comfortable living back home for themselves and families. The Association is also encouraging and empowering Ghanaians to develop themselves academically and acquire entrepreneurial skills that can make them self-reliant, employers of labour and put them in better position to give something to the Ghanaian economy.

NAGHACON is well structured in a way that every Ghanaian will have access to be a member. In every locality where Ghanaians are the Association is formed and it is called a Chapter of NAGHACON. All the Chapters in a State delegate three members each who come together to form the State Council of NAGHACON.As at today NAGHACON has the following well established State Councils: Lagos State Council of NAGHACON, Kwara State, Ogun State, Kaduna State,Abuja FCT, Anambra, Ondo, Akwa Ibom State, Osun State,Oyo State,Cross River State, Kano State,Enugu State,Adamawa State, Nassarawa State, Niger State and Benue State. They are making effort to establish the Association in other areas where Ghanaian presence is very visible.
